I have a great suggestion where a case of amnesia allows the heroine to get revenge against the hero-The Amorous Education of Celia Seaton by Miranda Neville.

Popping back in here because you recommended book 3 in a series and so I had to read the first two books first. I loved them, I will now be devouring Miranda Neville's full backlist, finally starting YOUR rec next. Gotta say though in book 1 I was imagining Tarquin as an old bald guy lol. Need to reframe in the brain

So glad you enjoyed them! She was a superior writer. We lost her too soon. https://wordwenches.typepad.com/word_wenches/2017/10/in-memory-of-miranda-neville.html

I don't read a lot of books with amnesia, but the ones where I do, the amnesia starts at the beginning of the book and they're figuring it out over the course of the story.

Maybe I just started on odd books, but I've read at least two where the amnesia happens near the end of Act 1 and I find it so frustrating! So much story has already happened! I don't want to go backwards! I'm the same way in split chronology- don't send me back 10 years! I can stomach a flashback if we MUST, but for less than a chapter, I beg of you. I am an extremely impatient reader haha
